The purpose of Highlawn Baptist Church is to provide and maintain regular public services for the worship of God, for the teaching and preaching of the Gospel, to sustain the ordinances of Baptism and communion, the ethics and the doctrines of the New Testament, and to promote and support the interests of the Kingdom of God according to the teachings of Christ.

A Caring, Growing Family:

Highlawn Baptist Church is a family of average people who are growing in their knowledge of the Bible and of God.  It is a family which cares for its members and endeavors to grow in love.  It is a friendly church which welcomes all who wish to come and worship and grow with us.

A Member of the American Baptist Churches, USA:

We are a self-governing church with by-laws and a church constitution.  We are a member of Teays Valley Baptist Association, WV Baptist Convention, and American Baptist Churches, USA.
